I am a Council member of The Cornwall Watercolour Society; Associate Member of Penwith Gallery St Ives and Member of The Arts Club St Ives.
My preferred way of working is with water based mediums. This allows me huge versatility so I can work en plein air in the wilds of the wonderful Cornish landscape that surrounds me, as well as in the wind free comfort of my studio!
I particularly enjoy embellishing watercolour paintings with collaged materials - whether using colour, patterned paper or through monoprints I have made myself.
My passion for flora and fauna and the energy of the naturel environment means I enjoy painting wild flowers, birds, rocks, shellfish, as well as pounding seas & moody landscapes. I also love little cobbled streets, harbours and rusty boats - the essence of the Cornwall I love!

Wild Cornwall Art Fair is a small bi-annual arts event set in the heart of the stunning little hamlet of Zennor in West Cornwall.
It was originally set up by myself and another local artist and printmaker - Caroline Marwood as a summer arts fair and creative arts workshop space that is set in the quaint little granite hall next to St Senara's Church.
It has a wonderfully peaceful, relaxed, vintage summer vibe in which to browse local art, learn some new art and printmaking skills, try out working with clay, listen to a poetry reading or simply drop in for a delicious cream tea.
This event is gradually growing and we are delighted to be joined this year by two new local artists - a Ceramist Michelle Foot and poet Rob Kersley both of whome, like us are inspired by the stunning scenery of West Cornwall.
Wild Cornwall Art Fair 2026 dates:
July 15-22nd and September 12- 20th, Zennor Village Hall, Zennor.
